Psalms Rojas is the Director, Community Resilience at Behavioral Health System Baltimore. Psalms leads the Community Resilience and Prevention teams that collaborates with teams and departments across the organization to develop and implement strategies that mitigate the negative effects of toxic stress and trauma, prevent or reduce the severity of behavioral health conditions among children, youth and families, and promote resilience to strengthen overall health and wellness in communities across Baltimore City. Psalms works to align funding and resources to support grassroots organizations/initiatives through capacity building, technical assistance, policy change, and community engagement. Psalms prioritizes co-designing, collaborating, and shared decision-making with community members as she oversees BHSB’s resilience work, which includes both the community engagement and the prevention work.
Psalms received her Bachelor of Social Work from Azusa Pacific University in California and her Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland.
