Kathi Ruffin is the Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Behavioral Health System Baltimore. She oversees financial operations and systems and ensures the organization is effectively meeting its mission through developing and maintaining sound financial policies and internal controls, risk management strategies, and a plan for organizational growth.
Kathi has 19 years of experience in nonprofit accounting, finance, and financial systems. She is the former Controller of BHSB and has held Controllerships at Haverford College, Philadelphia Works and the NAACP National Office. Prior to joining BHSB, Kathi worked as a Senior Consultant for Navigator Management Partners where she served as a functional lead on non-profit financial system implementations such as University of Maryland College Park and the University of Connecticut.
Kathi holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Baltimore and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
