Anyone can file a complaint with BHSB about a behavioral health provider or BHSB to report a problem or concern, such as facility conditions, quality of care, unsafe conditions, or licensing questions. BHSB will work with the person(s) who filed the complaint and the provider to address concerns and resolve any issues.

It is the policy of BHSB to protect and secure health information that is held or transmitted by BHSB. It is also the policy of BHSB to adhere to the rules and regulations in the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the “Confidentiality of Substance Use Disorder Patient Records” (42 CFR Part 2).
